The Nyungwe national park is a home of various primate including chimpanzees, black and white Columbus, mangabey, and unique plant species including orchids. It is also home for endangered bird species making it a suitable destination for bird lovers Water falls and a canopy walk way, various hike trails.
On 2 Days Chimps & Canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park, you will also come across other primates including the red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys; plant species, birds to mention but a few.
After breakfast, pick up by your driver guide from your Hotel in Kigali, and drive to Nyungwe forest national park, home to the chimpanzees and more than 13 other primate species, check in to your accommodation, have lunch and later in late afternoon go for canopy walk, this is the hanging platform which allows safari enthusiasts a chance to view all flora and fauna from a different angle and alleviation which is the forest canopy on your first day of 2 Days Chimps & Canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park.

Have an early breakfast, pick packed lunch, not leaving behind drinking water (at least one little) and transfer to the park headquarters. You are allocated a ranger to brief you about the chimpanzee trekking expedition.
At 8 am, transfer to the start of the trek and move into the jungles to find the Chimpanzees. When you find the Chimpanzees, you are allowed not more than an hour to view and photograph them. Return at the start point to meet your driver on your last day of 2 Days Chimps & Canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park.
Return to the lodge for lunch, check out and drive back to Kigali for drop off at desired destination.
