Entebbe Zoo

The Uganda Wildlife Centre, also known as the Entebbe Zoo, is a center for rehabilitation, breeding, and recuperation for Ugandan animals that are rescued from poachers, injured, and from illegal traders.

Entebbe Botanical Gardens

The Entebbe Botanical Gardens was established in 1898; it protects over 320 exotic plant species and an abundance of bird species and mammal species. The Entebbe Botanical Gardens beautiful rainforest zone was used in the original ‘Tarzan’ film of 1940.

Reptile’s village 

Yasin Kazibwe established Reptile Village in 2002, and it is in Entebbe, 3 km off the Kampala-Entebbe highway. It was founded with the goal of raising public awareness and educating people about the need to preserve and maintain natural resources, such as forests and waterways. Yasin, a committed reptile specialist, has saved more than 40 snake species and serves as a reptilian environment that safari trips in Uganda can visit. In addition to being a habitat for a variety of reptile species, the Reptile Village is an educational hub for reptile conservation and research.

The best time to visit Entebbe could be anytime from December to February or June to September. The period from March to May falls within the rainy season.
