Singita Kwitonda Lodge got its wonderful name after a heroic silverback gorilla; it's situated on 178 acres at the Volcanoes National Park border, within the closest proximity to the park. Mountain Gorilla Tracking

The Volcanoes National Park is one of the four national parks where mountain gorillas can be seen. The others are the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Bwindi in Uganda, and the Virunga in the Congo. In Bwindi, spotting gorillas is high. Mount Bisoke is an extinct volcano and part of the larger Virunga volcanoes. Mount Bisoke is comparatively easier to hike than Karisimbi and takes one day. Hikers to Mount Bisoke must still be at a reasonable level of fitness. Mount Bisoke hiking permit costs $75. Porters can be hired for approximately $15 if you have heavy luggage.

Mount Muhabura Hike

Hiking Mount Muhabura is one of the most fascinating and daring volcanoes in Volcanoes National Park. It is the third-highest mountain in the Virunga ranges at 4,127 meters. By the time one reaches the peak of the 1200-meter-high walk, they will have traversed lush, verdant forests and gazed at the other volcanoes in the Virunga region.
