Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge is in the southern region of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge is a mid-range lodge just next to the Rushaga Gorilla Trailhead. Travelers can also fly to Kisoro, the Rushaga region of Bwindi, which is easily reachable from Entebbe or Kampala. The flight is one of the more picturesque ones in Uganda and offers views of Lake Bunyonyi, Lake Mutanda, and the Virunga Volcanoes.

The journey from Entebbe to Kisoro takes an hour and a half by plane. From there, it is a short drive to the Rushaga Gorilla Haven lodge. Travelers can trek gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the Rushaga sector and the nearby Nkuringo area, which has the most gorilla families.
