Sambora Kinigi Lodge is a 3-star mid-range lodge situated in Kinigi-Ruhenger, which is 10 minutes from the Ibyiwacu cultural center, 4 kilometers from Volcanoes National Park, and 8 kilometers from Mount Bisoke in the northern province, the home of golden monkeys and mountain gorillas, where mountain gorilla trekking safaris take place in Rwanda.

Travelers can arrive at Sambora Kinigi by road transport from Kigali International Airport or Kigali City in approximately 2–3 hours, or they can also fly from Kigali Airport to Ruhenger Airstrip in just 30 minutes, then later transfer to the lodge.
