Ranging from families to backpackers, the lodge's activities include adventure, bird-watching, there is at least something for everyone, enjoying maximum peace and quietness along the flowing River Ishasha, bird life, and delicious meals served in the lodge's raised restaurant or beach area. 

Queen Elizabeth national park is situated minutes away from where the tree-climbing lions are residing. At the River Ishasha, we offer six en-suite magical cottages and two family rooms, all with great views of the river Ishasha and the Queen Elizabeth National Park on the opposite bank. The River Ishasha cottages offer spaciousness and are well equipped with a flushing toilet, a hot and cold shower, and a sink, all with a view. All prices at the River Ishasha are on a full board basis and include delicious 3-course meals.

At the River Ishasha we offer six lazy camping rooms with great views of the River Ishasha and well-appointed shared options with flushing toilets and hot shower blocks on standby. At the River Ishasha rooms are cozy in nature but airy, perfect for travelers who wouldn’t like putting up a tent! The lodge offers two large beds with clean bed sheets, pillows, and duvets.
